FAQ

FAQs

Can I use the Wonder contour stick for everyday makeup?

Definitely! The contour and highlight stick duo has a buildable formula that lets you customise your look, blending seamlessly into the skin for a natural finish. It's perfect for everyday wear as well as more dramatic looks.

How do I choose the right contour shade?

Choosing the right contour shade is all about going a little darker than your natural skin tone, usually 1-3 shades depending on your desired intensity. If you have warm undertones, look for something with a bit of warmth, like a soft red-brown. For cool undertones, look for a more neutral or grey-brown shade for a to suit your skin.

Can I use the Wonder Stick contour on bare skin?

You can totally use this contour stick on bare skin! The creamy formula works wonders on dry and normal skin types, and can create a natural, no-makeup look. Just make sure your skin is prepped - clean and moisturised - so that the contour blends smoothly.

Do you use contour stick before or after foundation?

It's best to apply the contour stick after foundation. This way, you can blend the contour into your foundation for a seamless look. If you apply it beforehand, you might end up blending away your work when you apply foundation.

Where to apply contour for beginners?

If you're new to contouring, there are a few key spots you can start applying your contour stick. Try applying in the hollows of the cheeks - from the ear towards the mouth, stopping about halfway for a chiseled cheekbone. Define your jaw by swiping along the edge of the jawline, or contour the nose by tracing lightly down the sides from the brow bone. Lastly, apply to the temples and blend into the hairline to define the forehead.

Do you contour or highlight first?

You'll want to contour first then highlight after. Start by applying the contour stick to areas you want to define, blend it out, then highlight the high points of your face like the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, and the brow bone. This way, your highlight will really pop and give you a sculpted look!
